Interface Description

Device Panel Interface Layout Diagram
  • 1. Power Switch: Turn on/off device. Please note that if power is cut off abruptly during a test, data will not be saved.
  • 2. Display Screen: Monitors charging and discharging real-time parameters and curves.
  • 3. Coding Switches: Rotate to navigate menus and adjust working modes, press to confirm set parameters.
  • 4. Start/Stop Button: Controls operations. Any program modification or configuration must be paused first.
  • 5. Battery Positive Input: Pins 1-2-3 handle output current load, pin 4 handles precision voltage detection.
  • 6. Battery Negative Input: Pins 1-2-3 handle output current load, pin 4 handles precision voltage detection.
Important Safety Reminder: Over 99% of device failures are caused by inadequate contact area between the battery clamps and the battery terminals, bad overall contacts, excessively high charge/discharge current settings, or damaged battery cells. Even if the clamp appears to be holding, minimal physical contact area leads to excessive electrical resistance and failures. It is highly recommended that you customize or construct premium battery clamps for high-current applications.

Usage Instructions

1
Configure Parameters

Power on the unit first, then clip to the battery. Press the setting knob to enter the configuration menu. Rotate left or right to adjust, press to confirm, and exit to save settings.

Step 1 Settings interface
Charging Mode Parameters
Charging End Voltage: LTO: 2.7-2.8V | Ternary/Polymer/18650: 4.1-4.2V | LiFePO4: 3.6-3.65V.
Charging Current: Recommended to set at 10% - 20% of battery capacity (keep cell cool).
Cut-off Current: Below this value, battery is judged full. Recommended setting: <5Ah cell -> 0.2A; 5-50Ah cell -> 0.5A; >50Ah cell -> 0.8A.
Discharge Mode Parameters
Discharge End Voltage: LTO: 1.6-1.7V | Ternary/Polymer/18650: 2.75-2.8V | LiFePO4: 2.4-2.5V.
Discharge Current: Set to 10% - 50% of the cell capacity. Select a rate that minimizes excessive heat.
Cycle Mode Parameters
Keep Voltage: Final target voltage of the cycle test (same as charge or discharge cut-off).
Resting Time: Delay period between charge/discharge cycles to allow temperature stabilization (normally set to 5 minutes).
Cycle Count: Supports up to 5 cycles (e.g. 1 cycle: charge-discharge-charge).
Voltage Balancing Parameters
Discharge End Voltage: Target balance voltage. This setting must be higher than the current battery voltage by at least 10mV.
Discharge Current: Keep under 10% of battery capacity.
End Current: Recommended to set to 0.01A.
2
Initiate Operation

Return to the home screen. Rotate the knob to choose the active mode. Press the start/stop button to run the program. Press again if pausing is required.

Step 2 Operating screen
3
Read & Record Results

Once the cycle completes, the results page automatically triggers. Press any key to stop the finish alarm. Log results manually before moving to the next battery.

Step 3 Results display screen
Result Output Interpretation:
"1" Indicator: Represents the first run cycle data: AH, WH, and duration in minutes respectively.
Curve Indicators: Yellow numbers and line trace voltage. Green numbers and line trace current.
Health Diagnosis: Smooth, clean curves denote good battery quality. Jagged lines or sudden drops point to bad test contacts, extreme current rates, or high internal battery resistance.
• Note: If the test runs for less than 2 minutes, details are discarded and results show empty.

Warranty Policy

Warranty Service Period: 1 Year from the date of purchase.

Warranty coverage applies strictly to normal use conditions. Damages resulting from human error, self-disassembly, modification, unauthorized repairs, usage violations, or external force majeure events fall outside the scope of free warranty repair.

Accessories such as testing fixtures are subject to wear and tear and are categorized as consumables with no warranty.

For support and claims processing, please get in touch with your local distributor or reach out to our service team. If there is no local customer service center in your region, the product must be shipped to our central facility for service. Note that shipping expenses for both ways are the responsibility of the customer.
